Moving to Health & Stillness

Pregnancy is a special time. As a holistic practice, yoga may help support your pregnancy, birthing, motherhood and after.  Come stretch, strengthen, relax & renew and meet other mums-to-be.

I teach a friendly small class on Saturdays at 11 am in my lovely, calm and fully equipped home studio near Tufnell Park, Islington (1.15 hrs). You will supported through your pregnancy and postnatally too.

Believing in 'mothering the mother', you will recieve lots of individual care, nuture and nourishment.  All equipment will be provided for your comfort & joy. Drop-ins: £13. As space is limited, please reserve your space before you come. Concessions are available, please call to discuss.

I trained to teach pregnancy yoga with the amazing Uma Dinsmore-Tulli (Yoga Campus & Sitaram). Wholeheartedly committed to sharing the benefits of yoga for all women at all stages of their lives, I warmly welcome you.

In early 2016, I completed the Hypno Yoga for Birth course with Janine Hurley and Lynne Tomlinson both of whom are hypnotherapists within the NHS. As of September 2016, I now run monthly 'Partner Yoga for Pregnancy & Birth' classes which integrates hypnotherapy as an aid for birth for women and their birthing partners. Please email to enquire. Sessions are on the first Friday of each month, 8 - 9.30 pm. Suitable from 32 weeks onwards. No need to have attended my classes previously but useful.

I am also a trained doula with Paramana Doulas by Dr. Michel Odent & Liliana Lammers considered by many as pioneers of the doula movement and homebirthing in the UK.Trained by Suzanne Yates, I incorporate pre and postnatal Shiatsu into my work around birth. And, additionally, I also incorporate Hypno Yoga for Birth, Spinning Babies® and Mindful Rebozo Techniques in the partner workshops I run for expecting couples.

Having completed several pelvic floor intensives, my classes include practices for a healthy & responsive pelvic floor including rehabilitating the pelvic floor where necessary.
